Cookie Policy
We use as few cookies as we can, none for advertising, and none that track you without your OK.

- Embrisk is operated by Tapnet Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. It lets the site remember something between pages, such as a choice you made.
2. The cookies we use
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
embrisk_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you allowed analytics, so we do not ask on every page. Holds your choice, the policy version, the date and a random ID. Nothing about who you are. | 6 months |
embrisk_vid | Analytics, only with your consent | A random number, so we can count how many different people visit and which pages they see. Set only after you choose “Allow analytics”, and deleted if you change to “Essential only”. | 6 months |
Both are first-party cookies: only Embrisk can read them. We do not use advertising, remarketing, social media or session-recording cookies, and no third party sets cookies through this website.
3. Counting visits without cookies
Whatever you choose, our server counts each page load with the page, the website that linked to it, your country and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. It stores no IP address, no browser details and no identifier, and sets no cookie. It cannot tell one person from another, so it is not personal information. We keep these counts for 13 months.
4. Your choice
The first time you visit, we ask. “Essential only” and “Allow analytics” are equally easy to choose, nothing is ticked for you, and the site works the same either way. We ask again after six months or if this policy changes.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we treat it as “Essential only” without asking.
You can change your choice at any time: . You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings.
5. Signing in
The Embrisk team’s admin area uses one strictly necessary session cookie to keep staff signed in. It is never set for visitors.
